Located in Chun’an County, Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province, the Qiandao Lake is 150 kilometers from Hangzhou and Huangshan. It is named the Thousand Islets Lake due to its 1,078 islets distributed in.
Qian Dao Lake is a young lake. She is an artificial lake formed as the result of being a reservoir for constructing Xin’an River Waterpower Plant in 1959.it is also a pure lake because the thick forest surrounding the lake purifies the atmosphere here. With eighty-one percent of the park wooded, providing habitat for flora and fauna. A timber, Mao bamboo (a material used in architecture) and a kind of tea receive good comments. Qiandao Lake is definitely a beautiful lake. The many islets of various shapes add elegance to the lake. In a word, Qiandao Lake is a pleasure to behold.
